I read through the MS book, watched CBT Nuggets videos, and am getting 900+ scores on Transcender, MeasureUp and SelfTest questions. Its not like its hard material but there are so many little details and things to remember.

Transcenders have always been a good measure in my book. I would recommend you honestly evaluate your test results. Are you getting 100% because you've been over the test 6000 times and have all of the answers memorized, or do you understand the material being presented. If it's the latter; then schedule your test. If it's the first...find a test online that you haven't taken before. Even if it is the former, you'll probably pass simply because of how close the content is when you take the real test.

I always make sure to do the study mode so I can see the answers and find out why I missed one or even why the other answers are incorrect when I get one right. I dont want to know just what the answer is buy why it that answer.

I passed 70-270 with 905 yesterday and it was my first MS exam so am now MCP :)

I was worried as I had a lot of questions about 10 marked for review at the end of the test. I normally mark questions I am not 100% sure on for review and then run over them again at the end unmarking them if I then think I am sure I have answered correctly.

I studied for about a month on average two hours a day and then about 8 hours a day in the last week. Used the Sybex study guide and an Exam Cram book. I think I learnt quite a bit from the experience.

Actually I learnt alot, today at work a woman complained that her C drive was suddenly full up. I removed her from the default domain policy using what I learnt a week before as she was filling up her profile and the policy was stopping her from shutting down. Noticed that removal from the policy had enabled offline files and her C drive had been filled by the cache.

Wouldnt have identified that if it wasn't for the MCP :)

I guess I was ready because I got a 905 just like thebully! There were some areas that were on the test that I never saw in my studies though. There were many questions that were almost exaclty like the practice questions.

It's been years, but when I took the 70-270, there were plenty of questions on RIS and another topic (remote access, maybe?) that were covered only briefly in the book, but covered with some focus in the Readiness Review.

From here, don't fall into the trap of thinking that MS exams are "easy". Most people pass 70-270 the first time, and then fail (the first time) on their next exam beacause they assume that the difficulty level remains the same. It doesn't.
