Hi,
I have databases with front back splits.
If I use SQL Server or MSDE (more like MSDE 2000 Release A because its free)and I'll put it on the server, the wizard upsizes the back ends as a copy, keeping the originals?
I then relink the front ends to the copies in the SQL Server or MSDE which ever.
The back ends do not have any VBA coding they are just tables, all queries etc are in the front ends so there should be no problems with the JET conflicits so I do not have to rewrite the front ends?
Right guesses?
Warm Regards
Bill

From what little I know of the upsize wizzard yes, it should be pretty much that simple. It all depends on your code and your table design however. If your tables don't have primary keys for example you'll have problems.
