We use some old Brother 4018 printers to print labels
and worklists. This in combination with NT workstations.
To do so we had to select the "always spool raw datatype"
in the print processor menu.

Now some of our sites have switched W2K and XP. Where
I don't seem to find this option! The oracle reports we
print need this option set, to print correctly...

(I hope I'm still making sence..)

Does anybody know how I can set this option on W2K or XP???

Thanks,

P.

Right click on your printer and choose "properties".
Click on the "Advanced" Tab.
Click on "Print Processor..."

have fun,

Hi UncleRick,

you are close to becomming our new GOD!

we 've already got to this part, but still
there's no option to select
"always spool RAW datatypes"

It should be on the Ports tab under "configure port"

Sorry, I missed a step.

Still on the advanced tab uncheck "Enable advanced printing features"

This forces RAW to spool
