The color mode is always grayscale when I create a new image, it used to always be RGB, how do I get it back that way?

When you go File>New, change the Colour Mode to RGB in the settings dialogue that opens.

It will open by default the last colour mode you selected.

I see it, I do it, but it's still opening as grayscale. Oh well, changing it that was is easier than image>mode

Thanks

Hi,

You could possibly solve the problem by resetting your Photoshop preference settings. Simply delete the Photoshop Prefs.psp file.

or

Many preferences are now in the Windows registry. To reset your Photoshop preferences you can hit Shift-Ctrl-Alt upon startup.
