alternatives to d-gel (icky pic cable cleaner)

What have you all used for cleaning outside plant icky-pic?
obviously I cannot get this d-gel today.
Im pretty sure ive seen someone using fast orange hand cleaner... seems like rubbing alcohol would work, I may try this today.

In the laundry section of the supermarket, "DeSolvit" orange spray.

Alcohol does not work like you think it would.
In a bind, the FastOrange works much better.

I have used alcohol and it does not work great. it takes a lot to do it.

have used tea tree oil in a bind, and it worked great.
