Alternatives to Backup Exec

I was just handed a stack of tapes backed up by Veritas 7.2 and told to move them to a hard drive. I'm trying to get the trial version of Backup Exec 8.5, but the link on the Veritas site is dead. So I'm hunting around the web trying to find other software that can read the Veritas BE format.

And after reading all the problems people are having, I'm a bit concerned about BE anyway.

Can anyone point me to alternative software that reads this format?

Its stupid, to use Backup exec.

I have better Luck with Legato.
