Alternatives for Win Server 2003 upgrade to SBS 2003

We're wanting to upgrade Windows Server 2003 (Ent. Edition) to Small Business Server 2003, but can't because they only support upgrades from the Stand. Edition.

Does anyone have ideas on how to workaround this limitation? Upgrade to something else first & then to SBS maybe?

Any ideas?
