We have a 2003 server which houses our users home folders. Half of the workforce work from home/remotely. Their home folder is synchronised using the XP offline files feature. This works well usually but about once a week we have to reset up offline files on one of the clients due to the offline files feature not working. This can take a considerable amount of time due to the size of the home folder. It has also led to data loss on a few occasions.

Does anyone use an alternative solution for synching user's home folders?

Try SyncToy 2.0

Also, there are quite a few commercial products out there that will do what you want, it's just a matter of how much you're willing to pay.

I hate all Uppercase... I don't want my groups to seem angry at me all the time! =)

It's more a commercial product i'm after. Just wondering is anyone had any recommendations based on experience.

Thanks

I only need the ability for the users to have an offline copy of their home folder when they are out of the office/working remotely and then able to synchronise their files over a VPN so that they are backed up. Sharepoint/groove would seem to be more complicated than a sync'ing tool.
Thanks
