Hello- does anyone know of a utility that can re direct a local folder to a network drive. Something like SUBST. Thanks in advance.

In NT if you set up a folder to be shared you can use the net use command.

net use h: \\bkcasbkmaster\datadev2

where bkcasbkmaster is the server name and datadev2 is the folder that has been "shared"

forum621 or forum616 may be of some help also.

Hope it helps

Hi- I mean re-directing the program files folder to an H drive so that whenever a call is made to c:\program files\app it is redirected to a users H:\program files\app. I don't want to install an app to H:. Can be trouble.
