I'm taking over the company newsletter which has been previously done in pagemaker. I see pagemaker has not recieved the best reviews. I have the opportunity to purchase any software I want, what the best out there, or at least some alternatives? Thanks!

I use PageMaker for my day job, but I don't like it. I would suggest InDesign or QuarkXpress. InDesign does have alot more going for it than Quark. Just my opinion.

I'll second InDesign. I also use Pagemaker for my day job but InDesign looks like it's the contender for the future of Desktop Publishing.

Hi, MelissaBerrett,

For serious DTP, the future is InDesign.
