Alternative MWI

Does anyone have a good alternative to a phone being used for MWI? I am setting up a small call center for a customer that has VM for the Call center and when a message is left they want everyone to know it. My temp solution is to mount 2 phones on the wall with the MWI visible, but a better solution would be a standalone light or something?

There is an external light available for an i2050 phone which you can stick on a pole or something like that. You'd then have the i2050 built with the MWI for the mailbox in question. Burns up an IP client, but if you have the free client license that comes with the BCM it shouldn't be any big deal.

that sounds like what I need but this is a gov agency and no IP phones allowed.

Ahh. If you have an ASM 8+ module, you could go with an external analog message waiting lamp. Kind of pricey though if you don't have the 8+ card already.

You could enable the message notification feature and add several extensions to the list. But it's not the same as a light, so some customers don't like it, while others are fine with it.
