Alternative hardware support sources

I am looking for sources of hardware support and service for RS/6000 systems other than IBM. I received a quote from IBM for hardware services, and it seems awfully expensive. Are there any other RS/6000 service organizations?

I don't know of any other RS6000 support. You could probably find someplace, but keep in mind when they get stumped they're gonna go running to IBM and charge you for the call they made.

If you are in the UK I can recommend Sphinx CST - they are based in Leeds and provide good hardware and software support coverage if required. It may be worth a call.
