I would like to know how to alternate each row of a report with white and gray bars. I am currently using Access 2003.

Any help would greatly be appreciated.

Thanks,
TH

in the onFormat event of the section, you need to set up some sort of counter, then use counter mod 2 to get an ocillating value of 0 and 1...

use this number in a if statement which toggles the background property of the row.

Thanks for the idea. I'm not sure how to set up some sort of counter as you suggested.

Do you have any recommendations?

Doesn't anybody search before asking?
