Hi there.
I know we can personalize our CMM mailbox greeting by calling our mailbox.
But is there any way we can personalize CMM mailboxes by, for instance, copying a WAV-ALAW file to a folder?
Because I have been given a WAVE file and been told that almost all the 90 extensions in this PBX need to have the same greeting.
Thanks in advance.
Regards

You should consider upgrading to Avaya Messaging as CMM has been a dead product for years. All of the Avaya products do not allow you to "upload" greetings. The easiest way will be to use VB-Audio ( so it will create a virtual adapter and then use one-x communicator to login to the voicemail box. Once logged in you navigate to recording your greeting. When you are ready play your greeting via windows media player or vlc. The audio will flow through the VB-Audio driver and will record what is being played on your media player.

Hi there.
Yep, this is a customer on an old CM R5.0 with CMM. I don't think we can go for Avaya Messaging with them, since it's a customer without an Avaya support contract.

Thanks for making it clear that there ain't no way I can copy a wave file to a greeting folder or something like that.

Cheers
