Hi,

Have a prob with alternate routing,

LIM1 = 01895 area
LIM2 = 01865 area

ROU1 = DASS (01895)
ROU4 = DASS (01865)
ROU2 = ANA (01895)

Routes so that LIM1, = rou1, rou4, rou2
LIM2, = rou4, rou1, rou2

If LIM1's DASS goes down, second and third rou, apparently works
If LIM2's DASS does down, 2nd and 3rd choice, def dont work.

LIM1 is main site so is generally bomb proof.

below is print out (BC10) any ideas, cheers

Hi
Now I analyze your’ printout and find one difference between ROU 1 and 4
It is position D3 in SEL by ROCAP, try to set D3=3 in ROU =4

And probably you want send RONDP:ROU=ALL; and not RODNP:ROU=ALL;

Hi RFPUI,

re: D3 in sel
1 Sequential selection
(Even seizure in own LIM and after that the same principle in the next LIM)

3 Sequential selection in route.
(First free external line in route. Selection always starts with the same line.)

I dont see how that fixes it,

RONDP print has no entries, however.....

some testing shows, that selecting the dest codes, to other site works. also blocking rou4 will force calls to rou1.

BUT, and this is the case, I dont know if the situation when the links fallen over gives a IDLE and FREE in the SUSIP print, will then route the calls, as the MD thinks its up ?

I know IDLE and BUSY does work though...

will continue looking, any further ideas ?

cheers
