Alternate Mailbox question

I have a hunt group the overflows to a mailbox. Is it possible to light the MWI on certain extension that ALREADY have their own mailbox? I tried to setup alternate mailboxes but it wont take since the alternate extension already has their own.

Conversely, is there anyway for a message to be automatically copied to other mailboxes, or send a message that the overflow mailbox has received a message? Or does anyone have any suggestions on alternative ways to set this up.

Only one mailbox can turn on a light.

Only way I've gotten around this is to set the mailbox in question to do a off premise notification to another mailbox, or multiple mailboxes - when a message is left, you can have a OPN sent out that says something like "You have a new message". They can then go check the mailbox in question.
