Hello, I have a user who would like their alternate greeting to play when he is on a call (Hi, I'm on the phone call you back when whenever). For the most part I have every phone set up to take 2 active calls at once and the 3rd would go to voice mail. It works the way he wants it if he has 2 active calls the 3rd caller gets his alternate greeting. He would like it to play if he's on 1 active call and the 2nd would go to voice mail if he decides not to answer it and play the alternate greeting. Is this do-able? We're using Unity 8.6

I can set his phone to take 1 active call and the next one goes to voice mail, but he doesn't want to give up the option to take the 2nd call. Thanks

The Alternate greeting overrides all other greetings and thus is not able to be selected based on a set of conditions.

What I do for my own work schedule is use the closed greeting and then build a personalized schedule encompassing all of my scheduled off-duty dates. For example, I work a 9/80 schedule where I'm off every other Friday. On the tail-end of every Friday off I also tack on a vacation day on the following Monday after my 9/80 Friday. I then build a schedule fully encompassing all of these long 4-day weekends and then record a "closed" greeting that plays only on those specific dates. It's a bit of a chore to build a year-long schedule (takes perhaps an hour) but once done, it's done and you only have to do it once a year.

Then for any additional (i.e., unscheduled) days off I will use the Alternate greeting, but am careful in the verbiage of the announcement message so as to be date neutral (so I don't have to constantly re-record it).

If the user's "ON-Call" dates are hard-coded in that they are pre-determined and scheduled well in advance, and are not subject to sudden change, then this same idea could be extrapolated to do the same thing, but again using the "Closed" greeting and then building a matching schedule.

Thanks for the reply. If it was one user I'd maybe do that but I'm thinking he's asking for a few others.
