alternate disk install without rshd protocol

Is it possbible to do an alternate disk migration without the rshd protocol ? for example with ssh ?
 
Please explain in a little more detail what your trying to do.

I have never seen ssh used for this before, not sure that NIM supports it. Is there any reason that you cannot enable rsh for only the time you are doing the migration and then turn it off afterwards?

of course when it is the only one solution ;-)
 
Unfortunately I think that might be the only choice here. I have fooled a system into using ssh when it wanted to use rsh by replacing the rsh binary with the ssh binary, but you would want to try something like that on a test server first and of course that would not be a supported method.
