Alternate Access URL in 2.0

Currently running WSS 2.0 and need to configure Alternate Access to allow Secure Internet access.

Currently have access via our Intranet to

http://spserver.

Would like to setup access from the Internet via

https://access.domain.com.

(firewall and SSL is already in place and configured)

I have read

for a step-by-step. However this is referring to WSS 2003 and I am running 2.0 (this might be the same but I don't know).

The first step is to;

"On the SharePoint Portal Server Central Administration for server_name page, in the Portal Site and Virtual Server Configuration section, click Configure alternate portal site URLs for intranet, extranet, and custom access."

However I don't have anything like this on my Configuration page. I have tried using stsadmin with addzoneurl with addalternatedomain but nothing seems to work.

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.
