This may be a new one!!!
Everytime I close Word in Windows 98, I no longer receive the dialog box in the center of the screen asking "Do you want to save..... (and buttons of Yes, No, and Cancel).
Now I get the phrase "VicodinES Loves You / Class.Poppy" on the top border line, an OK button, and a phrase I'd rather not repeat in the text area above the button.
Does anyone have an answers to the following:
    1) Is it harmful (right now I don't have the option to NOT save updated work)
    2) How can I fix it?
    3) Is there a way to find out how it got there? And who that might have been?

Sounds to me as if you have downloaded a virus to your machine, possibly a word macro virus or a varient of the I Love You virus. I would reccomend you update your Antivirus scanner. And run a complete virus check on your system.
