alt_disk copy timings

Hi

Does anyone have a best guestimate on how long a 12GB rootvg alt disk copy will take, the copy will run whilst there is no user activity on the system. Its AIX4.3.3, P640, 2 CPU, 2GB RAM. Disks are both internal SCSI disks.

Did one recently and if I remember right took about 30-40 mins,

I did this with a 9GB internal SCSI disk once ago and if I remember properly, it was around 1,5 hours.

..just completed a copy and it took 36mins.

2 procs (dual processors)
8GB mem
27GB data copied from 1 internal scsi
