alt extension in CP mailbox

have you used it?
does it just serve as an access point for the mailbox, or does it create 2 mailboxes and duplicate the messages?

It just produces a 2nd message for you on the display and allows you to check it from that ext as well. You cannot have a mailbox on that alt ext tho.
