We have NT2000 boxes. We have IE6 Installed as well as Adobe Acrobat Reader 5.01 installed as well. We have recently installed Netscape 6.2 on some machines. When they access a link through Netscape that refers to Adobe, Netscape advises that it does not have Adobe Acrobat Reader as a plug in and the user should install. Well, as stated above, AAR is installed. If we use IE, links with AAR work just find, It's just Netscape that is squalking. Is there a way to register AAR as a plugin, without doing a physical install of AAR, since it is already on the system ?

Thanks

So it happens with Netscape 6 as well as Netscape 4 does it? Netscape doesn't see Acrobat Reader but Acrobat Reader recognises Netscape and installs its plugin into Netscape's plugin folder. Just reinstall Acrobat Reader after installing Netscape.

Thanks. Reinstalled AAR, now Netscape advises me that it needs Real Player, what a joke, how many more things will I be reinstalling. Thanks for your direction.
