ALR 7300 ADAC controller with single drive vs original array

I'm rebuilding an ALR 7300 that had a 3-drive RAID array on an ADAC controller. I'm now using a single 12-platter 47GB SCSI drive on that same array, and it works fine with Win2K Professional, but for the app I use, I need to be able to run the box with Win NT Server 4.0. I have the ADAC disk array diskettes, and the NT install CD sees them, but doesn't think there is a drive connected to the controller.
Would using a bare unformatted drive, rather than one I've already partitioned with Win2K help? Suggestions, please! Fred Wagner

I found my solution in the manual that came with the ADAC controller - installing NT server requires that you force the install process to accept the driver diskette for the ADAC controller early on - when it shows itself loading all kinds of drivers, you have a chance to press F6 to allow loading of an additional driver -press F6 there, give it the ADAC diskettes, and then NT Server will see the drive. There's an entire page about this at the back of the manual, and supposedly in a .TXT file on the driver diskette.
