Can't find a laptop-specific forum so I hope this is in the right place... I'm new to tablet PC's and recently purchased one. It's a Toshiba Portege M400. It's great so far, but for no apparent reason the touchpad stopped working. It was working just fine, then I stepped away from it for 5 minutes and when I came back it wasn't working, it doesn't track and the buttons are non responsive, completely dead. I haven't dropped it, spilled anything on it, or installed anything other than Firefox, Google Earth, Winamp, CCCP and Crossloop since buying it and it hasn't been in any extreme environmental conditions. It's an Alps touchpad. What are some possible explanations under these conditions? Do Alps touchpads have a reputation of doing this? Any help appreciated.
