Alphabetical order for guest list

How can I get Approach to put my guests in Alphabetical order and it saved so the next time I start the program, it will remember that order and not default to the order I entered the anmes in?

create a sort macro, and attach it to the "on switch to" event of the form. That might help.

You can assign a "default sort order" for a database by going to File, User setup, Approach Preferences and using the "Order" tab.
