hi, can Director use moving alphas or mattes to knock out background from video? we are trying to chroma key a guy walking on screen over our director background? this may have been hashed to death already...i'm a newbie, so thanks for any help:)

I don't know if Director can do such a thing. Director is a VERY powerful program, but it doesn't do video editing. You could convert a video file into a bunch of bitmats using some other program, then take out the background in each frame and just do frame by frame animation with the Background transparent ink. That sounds really tedious though. Director can't chroma key video, but it can "chroma key" bitmaps. Thats the only way I could think to do it, sorry.
