I am not sure, the test sites probably vary.
BC12 SP5 is verified in the lab and in field trial in Sweden, Belgium, Saudi, Austria and UK.
Usually they test at Ericsson sites and a few willing customers. The customers probably get the upgrade for free in exchange for a period of reduced availability.
