Alright I bought a ATI Radeon 9000(PCI),I have an onboard video card,Intel 82810E Graphics Controller to be exact,I have a Compaq Presario 5000 series(model number 5bw160) My motherboard is a Intel Whitney i810E, Now onto the problem.. Ok I put the PCI card into the first PCI slot.I plug my monitor cord into the video card,I boot up my PC and the screen is blank,I try going into my BIOS to disable onboard video but I have no option on doing so,I tried disabling it through device manager,still no luck,I need some help if anyone can find out some information for me please^_^
