Aloha with 2 cash drawers

Hi everyone! I'm trying to save some money and I was wondering if it was possible to run 2 cash drawers from 1 Epson TM88IV? I have 2 APG printer interface cash drawers already and I'm trying to keep from buying a second Epson printer just to open the cash drawer. I have a rj12 6p6c splitter and went in AM and set both cash drawers to the same printer and made one drawer 1 and the other drawer 2, but when I try to open the cash drawer from term2 it tells me no drawer is connected to this terminal. Term 1 will open the drawer fine. Just was wondering if this was possible?

You must have the wrong cash drawer splitter.
