I want to set up the EDC to auto settle at the end of night.
How the winhook file looks like? I can not find any winhook.bat file at aloha.
Do I just create a winhook.bat file under aloha/bin and write some script? If so how the script looks like?

can not find any tutorial about the winhook.bat
thanks

I'ts not done with winhook, but with scheduled tasks. You would need to create a dummy settle file then drop it into the EDC folder each night.

The file is dependent on the processor type and has specific fields for the settle process. What processor do you use and I will post what the settle file should look like.

the credit processor is Visanet.
what's is winhook? can you explain it and what's the format looks like. I saw some people use it to generate report and others use it to auto-settle EDC.
Thanks for the reply

create a file called
10000001.REQ

inside the file you put.

BEGIN
TYPE SETTLE
PROCESSOR VISANET
PROCNO 2
PINDEX 1
END

When you drop this file in EDC it will settle your batch.

create a batch file to copy it from a different location into \aloha\edc\ after EOD. I usually use scheduled tasks.

Cheers,
Coorsman
