Does anyone have any experience getting aloha to work over VPN. I have a company that takes orders and delivers for me, takeout taxi, i would like to give them a pos terminal at their location. And help or suggestions would be appreciated.

As a last resort i can put the terminal at my location and just give them a remote desktop connection to it, but i'd rather not do it with that method.

vpn is easy. you can also use a program from sonic wall called net extender and have that running.

We use VPN at all our locations....really not a big deal,

As mentioned above, if you have sonicwall gateways you can use a desktop client VPN "net extender" or find another vpn client compatable with you gateway/router and then once the vpn is setup you could give them remote VNC access to that terminal as a simple cost effective way.
