Aloha TS 6.12 upgrade to 6.2 Advice

I have Aloha TS version 6.12 running in one store and Aloha TS 6.2 in another.

I have the 6.2 version disks and want to upgrade teh 6.12 store to the 6.2 version.

I am PC and Network proficient but not an Aloha expert.

Can anyone advise how to self install the upgrade?

I have a Dell XP based boh server and 4 radiant 1210 terms running win xp embedded. EDC, Aloha GC and Aloha Loyalty.

Anyone have step by step help?

Did you get a licesnse upgrade for the 6.1 site. You usually have to purchase the software again for an upgrade in aloha from one version to another ie.. 6.1 to 6.2

If you've been paying for software membership the upgrade software is free. You should also consider upgrading to at least version 6.4 if you are processing credit cards, ver 6.2 expires this year as far as PCI security standards are concerned.

yes we have software maintenance. Just thought if this was fairly straight forward could avoid the $500+ aloha reseller install charge...

I don't know why they would charge, it's fairly straight forward if you wanted to do it yourself. Like ThobeThor said,the latest version for cisp is at least 6.4 or 6.5. Just make sure your key is updated for that version.
