I have an Aloha 5.3 on a Win 2000 server and ~ 14 terminals labled 1 - 21 (beats me) all w/ Win 98. The term2 loads just fine and is set as Master terminal. Term 2 states all the other terminals are down even tho they are not.

From the server side I was able to navigate to all the terminals via Windows explorer to make sure they didn't have a dated subfolder.

So I tried these thing so far and still no luck:
- I ran a manual grind on the latest folder (dated 20130424) on the server side. This got stuck on several attempts and so I copied the gnddbf30.xxx, the trans.log file, the EOD file, and EODGRND (sp?) files over from the previous dated folder and then ran the grind again sucessfuly. I rebooted the terminals and they all (except #2) are looking for the master term and/or server and then says Waiting for End of day. (term #2 loads fine and is stating to be the Master term)
- I also tried copying the DATA folder to/from the server to the terminals, I even make sure that the DATA and latest dated folers have the latest gnddbf30.xxx, the trans.log file, the EOD file, and EODGRND (sp?) files on the terminals and server.
- I even tried editing that ini file in the BOOTDRV directory that lists what the last master and last file server are to reflect the master as the server.

Still no luck. I'm an IT person w/ little experience w/ Aloha and would love a nice step-by-step help.

check all the terminals DATA folder and make sure there is no EOD flag
