I had an employee read just enough information on line to figure out how to put a terminal in stand alone mode when it wasn't connecting. Now I do not know how to remove it from stand alone. I tried going to fileshare recovery but nothing happens. Please help!

Back up the trans log and data files before trying this (Boh and Foh).
Also don't attempt this is your aren't experienced with aloha.

Verify that you have a connection to the terminal from the boh. Delete the downtime.ini file. Reboot the terminal. If it doesn't recover after a reboot try recovering again. If you've got more than one terminal turn everything off except for the master terminal.

Post the .svr debout and I can give you more info.

Again I don't recommend trying this if you aren't comfortable with aloha. Call AlohaRoss or Ncr support.

When in doubt make a backup.

or if all terms show something like term2(term1 master) or they have red boarder on them try this
check date of business at bottom of screen. check in Aloha if last date of reports is day prior.
if yes, go to utilities and choose file server recovery.
if no you will need to escalate for support as other issues are going on.
