I am trying to calibrate my aloha terminals and the error msg reads unable to load ELOProgram when i select the calibration key at the terminal ...any suggestions...many thx in advance
Attach a keyboard - press the windows key -bottom left between alt and ctrl. Thhis will bring up the start button. Use your arrow keys to browse thru the program files - depending on the type of touch controller - you might see a calibration program. If it's a radiant it's a little trickier - you may also need a mouse. In the control panel select P15xx there is a calibration program in there.
If it is an elo touchscreen you can do a windows search for elo
The file you want to run is usually elocal32 or elova but it could have other names. If your windows is set to show file extensions it will end in .exe
If you have to access the control panel and can't easily attach a mouse you can navigate using the tab key space key and the arrow keys. It's a little tricky but you can do almost anything this way
hit the windows key (or ctrl and esc) to get to start menu where you can navigate to conrol panel.
open control panel
usually the focus is already on an icon; if you hit the space bar this "focus" will highlight (dark blue on my computers)
If you can't see any area of focus hit the tab key, each time you hit it the area of focus will jump to a different area
You can then use the arrow keys to move to the icon of choice and hit enter to open that icon
Once you open an icon you are back to using a combination of tab and the arrow keys to navigate
