Aloha Take Out and Delivery?

There is a way around buying the software, but it comes with a downfall. One of the main things is that you cannot input an order in the system automatically due to licensing. However, you can still set your machines up to accept & manage delivery orders, if you are willing to moderate your incoming orders and input them as they come in (maybe hook up a buzzer when they come through).
Another thought i had was to just create an online ordering system where upon order complete online, a printout to the kitchen would come through signifying an online order, and upon pickup, you would then enter the order while the customer was there and close it out quickly to your online cc tender. I think trying to allow people to create orders without actually paying before the ticket is printed to be made (while they do it all the time in delivery, so i don't know about this), would be a mistake even with some sort of captcha to avoid spam orders. Unless perhaps you did something like limit one order per day per IP address with a time-limited ban on additional orders for that IP. This way you wouldn't deny customers who might pick up that IP on the ISP.
This is an idea I have toyed with for a while, however a lot of places want the automation so I have not put fourth much effort in creating something like this just yet.
