Aloha versions 5.2 to 6.1
I need to find a way for bartenders to differentiate between tabs on the tip entry screen when the tab is rung in, card applied then closed without naming the tab. Right now they all show as "Fast Close". These sites are using a semi-integrated software and PAX credit card terminals. It uses buttons on the Aloha screens to apply CC payments and add tips but the card is inserted or swiped on separate devices so Aloha never sees the card information. In the past they used the last 4 digits of the card number to know what tab was which. In one of the restaurants they run hundreds of these fast close tabs a night. I thought I remembered there being a way for fast close credit card tabs to be assigned the check number as the name?
Thanks for any insights, tips, suggestions etc.
