Customer has Aloha 5.3.32e.

Had a hard drive failure that required reloading the OS and reinstalling the software.

Everything is fine now, except for the superuser password - it brings up numbers, but even though I have been using Aloha for years, now how it works, and tried it multiple times, it doesn't work.

The user swears it work prior to the crash (I say this because there was talk of Radiant taking this out at one point) . She can get in with her normal passwor, but there are a few things she needs access to that she doesn't have, with and would like to be able to get into it.

Anyone else seen this? Any idea on how to fix it?

Make sure there is no IBEREXE.DLL (Aloha\Bin)or LANDRYS (C:\)files floating around, this will stop it from working. I've seen it sometimes get screwy before. I've had to re-register some files again, it might have been Alohasec.exe, Alohamgr.exe, mnt4x.dll or ctl4x.dll that controls this feature.

Not till 7.0 is it scheduled to be completely disabled with the exception of using a dealer key is what I heard. But outside Landry's stuff the iberexe.dll needs to be renamed or deleted. I am aware that there is somethig that changes the order that you read the code instead of the normal way. Maybe bigblok has knowledge of that.

Thanks you guys, removing the iberexe.dll from the bin directory took care of it! I really appreciate the help!
