Aloha Radiant P1532 - OPOS Error

Howdy all,

Been having issues with my new P1532s not initializing the OPOS controller. Exact error is 'Could not initialize OPOS Cash Drawer: RSDirect.CD1'
In this state cashiers are unable to pop the drawer. Usually caused by the cash drawer cable being disconnected.

Only way that I've found to reinitialize is to reboot the terminal. Anyone know of a better way to reinitialize the OPOS driver?
Bit of a headache to reboot the terminal several time trying to diagnosis a broken cable.
