Been getting used to a new version of Aloha QS 6.7 and I have a couple of rookie questions on reporting and labor.

1. When cashier checks out nightly the Daily Summary Report prints automatically. Is there any way to customize the report content, whether or not the report prints automatically upon checkout, and if so where is the report stored so I can eliminate all the unnecessary content?

2. Is there any way to condense the receipt printer to print in a smaller font or not have so many extra spaces between lines.

3. Can employees or job codes be clocked in automatically at a certain time with a specific bank amount in the drawer?

Appreciate any direction anyone might have. Thanks.

1. What prints at checkout can be changed under Stores -> Report Printing. Do a search in the help guide for Report Printing Group and it should pop right up. There are a lot of options here so you may want to experiment and find what works best for you.
2. Condensing the receipt can be done in a couple of ways. I'd recommend reducing line spacing on the printer itself. In Aloha you can consolidate identical items, reduce the number of leading blank lines, and trailing lines. Reducing the font size is an option but not using large font makes tickets difficult to read. Kitchen Chits have similar options for adjusting how chits are printed.
3. Clocking in automatically isn't possible that I know of. Even if there is a way I wouldn't recommend it. Nobody likes counting cash but it's a necessary evil, giving a drawer an automatic value is a great way to lose cash. Cashiers should be counting the drawer every time they clock in. Additionally having automatic clock in would make labor reports useless. This is my opinion and you may have a special concept that this work in but I can't imagine a scenario that this would work in.
