Aloha QS setup question

I'm trying to setup a digicom pc as term1 in an aloha ver5 system. I can load the software , but when the terminal boots up it hangs on waiting system configuration.

Any suggestions?

Ensure an OK file exists in the DATA folder on the file server.

It may not have an ibercfg file. Did you load it via the term install exe? Or you could copy the ibercfg file from another terminal and then edit it to the correct terminal number.

I've seen it behave that way if it has no back of house store data on it. (fresh install) if it is looking for the BOH machine as the server and cannot find it. it hangs at this point.. once we load a data folder from the fileserver with store data on it, it floats fine.

The ok file worked to get past that point.

Now after it loads, it comes up with Processing End of Day, Please wait. This is on the 1 terminal.
After this completes, the Aloha program stops and I am just left with the desktop screen.
Then on the boh pc, the Aloha Grind starts.

What am i missing?

I loaded the terminal (digicom) from the diskette, Setupterm program.

Check the dob (date if business) in the aloha configuration file in the data folder and newdata folder. Do you have a shortcut to start iber in the start up folder.
