I've successfully inserted new records to create valid ID numbers to use as a tender in my val.dbf file.
However, I'm running into a size limit that the POS will actually accept during the grind. I'm up to 30,000 records, which is a 1,055 KB file. It's almost like it times-out on the refresh when it's uploading the Valid Tender ID's. It goes up in percentage loaded and somewhere it hits a limit and just goes to an error (#1133).
I started with 100,000 records, dropped to 50,000, then 35,000. It finally ran the whole file and refreshed successfully at 30,000.
Anyone have an idea if this is simply a size limitation or if there's a work around? I'm at a loss as to whether this is a file size limit on the DBF side, or if it's a time limit on how long the POS will keep reading a file before it gives up?
