Aloha POS Taking out of Redundancy and merging data

The internet went down and thh FOH and BOH stopped seeing each other on the network. I had the server put the FOH into redundancy mode until i could get on site. I changed the IP address from static to dynamic and now they see each other again, and I belive the computer is out of reduncancy mode, but I have not gotten the information from reduncancy time to show up on the sales reports from BOH. How do officially take a FOH out of redundancy, and get the stored data merged to the BOH for future reference. Also does the front of house have to be Static IP, if so how do I set that up?

Thanks in advance, i have been working on this for 6 hours. and we are changing internet providers tommorow, so probably going to have to go through this again.
 
The internet going down should have absolutely nothing to do with redundancy or causing your POS system to stop functioning. -Kinda like saying your car's engine won't start because you have a flat tire.

Why would you need to change IP addresses and such? Unless you have a DHCP server, changing to using dynamic can only make things worse sense there would be no service generating IP addresses for DHCP requests. If you know how to change these settings then you should know this already.

Nothing about your post makes any sense. There's more to the story, or your messing around made things worse.

I think you should call your reseller, because either you are not the one who normally works on the POS, or you are someone that shouldn't be. I'm afraid to give any information to you.
