Hi Everyone!
So I have ALOHA POS system. 3 Terminals. My server decided to kick the bucket this week. I put the front terminals into redundancy. Called a repair guy to fix the server. Come to find out the motherboard had died. So he hooks me up with a new machine and we put my old hard drives into it. He ended up upgrading me to XP Pro from Win2000 to remedy some driver errors with the new board. Everything started up great except the local area connection has limited or no connectivity. So my server will not control my front terminals. My repair guy is not a POS networking expert, so he sent me on my own with this one. Before I call my POS Tech Support and get charged an arm and a leg, I thought I would try here. Aloha Manager comes up fine, except for the error "Ctlsvr disconnected", Aloha EDC comes up fine and allows me to process manually. I have unplugged the network switch. Rebooted and rebooted all the front terminals 1 by 1. The only thing that changed is the OS. HELP! :c)
