Im working with an older Aloha system running a 5.2 version. I have purchased a new BOH machine after the last one has died (bad HD), I have installed Aloha and copied in all the customers data but I am getting "Security key Not Found" When I try to start up Aloha Manager. I have Unreg and Reg Iber but the issue has continued. I have verified that the port works and I think it is a HASP key issue but I don't know how to work with the Hinstall thats in the BIN to correct issue. Any help on how to actually work with this file would be great. I can see that I can just scroll through the text lines but do I just hit ENTER to activate the commands? Any help is appreciated and I would love to find some remote help for this, I would make it worth anybody's time. Let me know if there are any takers. Western Union is our friend. Right now I have more money than time.

Western Union? Hhaha...

hinstall.exe -i (to install)
hinstall.exe -kp -r (to kill all processes and remove hasp drivers)

hinstall.exe /? (will get you the info I just gave you)

Is it a USB or DB25 key? If it's DB25 (parallel port), double check your bios settings. If it's USB, you may want to get the drivers yourself from the website. There are also some tools on there that can help you.

Could also be lana or DEP depending on the O/S. Debout.svr in the Aloha(QS)\TMP should tell you what is going on.
