As I do in aloha to open items are authorized by the general manager with a password or something similar? Thanks

Is the question: Is there a way to oly allow managers to enter open items?
Easy Answer: Make sure manager job codes are set to allow "get check" and to automatically return get checks. Create a new menu for the managers and assign that menu to the manager's labor code in events. Make sure the submenu that contains open items is only assigned to the managers menu.
When an open item needs to be entered the manager can touch the get check button then enter the table # or check #. They can then enter the open item needed. When they exit the tab the system will return the check to the server or bartender.
