Aloha Open Items Button

I am trying to make the open items buttons on our Aloha System needing a manager approval to use them. Is there any way that I can do this? I have looked in the items maintenance and cant find anything. Thanks for the help guys.

Create a new menu assigned to managers, Create a new sunmenu on that mene. then put your open item on that submenu.

You now have an open item on a submenu only managers have access to.

Cant you just create a category named RESTRICTED and put the items in there? I'm 99% sure thats how our system is set. Any server/bartender can see the items, but cannot use them without manager approval.
