We have Aloha system with this archaic inventory system developed by Aloha and I'm having issues accounting for all the products that are used in my drinks. So I'm setting up our pricing and I want to have the "Up Charge" mulitiply the underlying liqour amount.

Example:
my normal absolut pour is 2oz which the system accounts for, but when I do a martini it is more like 3.5oz but the system is only saying I use 2oz so it looks like I have massive shrinkage. So when I put in an up charge I want it to add another 1.5oz. Does anyone know how to do that?

Any help would be much appriciated

Thanks,

chris

With the original aloha inventory the best method for this is to have a unique item for each pour size. The other method would be to have a separate modifier group for each brand of alc. That inventory does not tie modifier to parent item so if you use a non-item-specifie modifier you know you sold an absolut and you know you used a martini upcharge but there is nothing tying the 2 together.
