Can anybody tell me how to get the MSR on MICROS Eclipse workstation working properly with Aloha?

I'm sorry, what do you mean by what 'interface'? I'm not familiar with Micros at all, I would think the Eclipse workstation has only one type of interface.
I do appreciate your help, please let me know where I would find that info and I'll get back to you.

posrescue,

this is the info off the msr

Eclipse MSR uses COM interface(RJ45).

I hope no one minds me resurrecting this thread...

Does anyone have any information on how it converts the rs-232 to keyboard? Like a driver name, tech spec, etc?

Thanks in advance!

Try setting terminal type from clone to micros pcws
Other then that its prob easier to buy a keyboard msr
and use that.

Been a while since I've been here, hope all is well!!

For the MSR to work on an Eclipse with aloha:

Set it up as OPOS and the OPOS name is PCWS_MSR

Have this on several sites.
